Delicious and easy-to-make strawberry gummies using fresh ingredients, perfect for a sweet treat with family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin or agar-agar powder
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Start by washing and hulling the strawberries. Blend them until smooth.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the blended strawberries, honey (or maple syrup), lemon juice, and water. Warm this mixture over medium heat, being careful not to let it boil.
  3. Gradually whisk in the gelatin or agar-agar until it dissolves completely.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  5. Refrigerate for about 120-240 minutes, or until the gummies firm up.
  6. Once set, gently remove the gummies from the molds and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions: Use agave syrup instead of honey or maple syrup for a vegan option. Fresh, ripe strawberries will give the best flavor. Gelatin gives gummies their chewy texture, while lemon juice adds a bright zing. Optional add-ins: Consider mixing in a few mint leaves for an extra layer of freshness.
