A flavorful and spicy Jerk Chicken recipe that brings the taste of the Caribbean to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, jerk seasoning, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and ensure they’re well coated in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Avoid skipping the marinating step for best flavor. Opt for skin-on, bone-in thighs for moisture.
